Building Service Robots.

Building service robots are robots that are designed to provide services to people in buildings. They are divided into three categories: Apartment Service Robots (for apartment buildings), Office Service Robots (for office buildings), and Factory Service Robots (for industrial buildings).

Apartment Service Robots.

Apartment service robots would provide services to people in apartment buildings. The robots would have wheels, so they can travel through hallways, and they would be capable of going in and out of elevators, so they could reach the various  floors of a multi-story building.   A typical robot would be a vending machine that would travel through the hallways, and sell things to residents. Another type of apartment service robot would be a laundry delivery robot. It would bring your laundry to  a laundry room and then return your laundry to you after it was washed.

The picture above shows a robotic vending machine. It would have wheels powered by electric motors, and a machine-vision system that would prevent it from bumping into obstacles. The robot would have a computer keyboard on it, so the customer could control it. The robot would sell products that are usually needed in households, such as soap, light bulbs,  phone cards, etc.

The picture above shows what the robot would look like in the hallway of an apartment building.

The pictures above show how  a truck would deliver robots to an apartment building.

Office Service Robots.

An office service robot is a robot that is designed to provide services to people who work in office buildings. The robots would have wheels powered by electric motors and would also have machine vision systems to prevent them from bumping into obstacles. They would be capable of going into elevators so they could reach the various floors of a multi-story building. Typical office service robots would include robots that replace ink cartridges in computer printers, and robots that replace batteries in smoke detectors.

The pictures above show a robot for replacing ink cartridges and paper in computer printers.

Factory Service Robots.

A factory service robot is a robot that is designed to provide services to workers in factories. These robots would have wheels powered by electric motors and machine vision systems to prevent them from bumping into obstacles. They could perform tasks like bringing  tools to workers. They could also provide emergency services, for example, a robot equipped with a fire extinguisher could put out fires in a factory. A robot could be equipped to bring a fist-aid kit to a worker who had been injured.

The pictures above show a robot bringing an oxygen mask to a worker who requires oxygen in an emergency.
